CDL Driver Las Vegas, NV OPERATIONS, Trucking In office Full-time The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving various trucks/equipment between intrastate company job sites; moves include equipment, aggregates, parts, muck, etc. Primary focus currently is flatbed and dump truck drivers.
  • Responsible for loading trucks properly and securing all equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks with heavy equipment as needed. Help offload trucks and spot for drivers as needed.
  • Inspect truck condition every day prior to driving.
  • Responsible for truck maintenance; inform maintenance technician and manager of any issues with vehicle.
  • Assist in site cleanup and maintenance efforts, including cleaning, painting, sweeping, and construction debris disposal. Basic Qualifications
  • Has Commercial Driver License Class A
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid US drivers’ license with good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screen. Preferred Skills and Experience
  • 1+ years of experience driving with a Class A or B CDL
  • Experience with end dump, belly dump and/or side dump.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as a skid steer, wheel loader, telehandler, etc.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Displays a willingness to work hard and be at job on time. Additional Requirements
  • Position may require extended hours and weekend work.
  • Ability to lift and haul 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, bend, push and pull.
