Manufacturing Supervisor Night Shift

ATI is a global manufacturer of technically advanced specialty materials and complex components. Our products support diverse markets and industries, including aerospace and defense, oil and gas, electrical energy, medical, automotive, and other industrial markets.

ATI is currently seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor Night Shift for our Cudahy, WI facility. This position works a Pittman rotating schedule and is responsible for supervising isothermal, grit blast, saw cutting, and die room operations. The Manufacturing Supervisor also oversees conventional Forge Shop preparatory operations to ensure readiness for the succeeding day shifts forging activities.

This role provides direct leadership and supervision for approximately 50 hourly employees and is responsible for supporting safe, efficient, high-quality production while coordinating manpower, equipment, tooling, materials, and production priorities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and supervision for approximately 50 hourly employees across assigned manufacturing operations.

  • Organize, prioritize, and assign work to employees based on production requirements, staffing levels, equipment availability, and operational priorities.

  • Determine manpower requirements for scheduled jobs, sequence work, and coordinate staffing to support efficient production.

  • Assist Maintenance and Facilities Engineering to troubleshoot equipment issues and identify and implement equipment upgrades that improve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity.

  • Provide technical support and direction to employees through standard work instructions, operating procedures, and established manufacturing practices.

  • Promote consistent communication and coordination between night-shift operations and the succeeding day shift to ensure continuity of production activities.

  • Foster effective labor-management relationships through fair and consistent application of applicable labor agreements, company policies, work rules, and established procedures.

  • Address employee performance and conduct issues and administer approved disciplinary procedures as directed and in accordance with company policies and applicable labor agreements.

  • Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout assigned manufacturing areas.
