Shift: Shift 1

Status: Per Diem FTE: 0.153333

Bargaining Unit: ACE Associates

Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No

Work Schedule: Days Evenings Nights with Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: 7:00am to 7:00pm/7:00pm to 7:00am

Summary:

Supervises and coordinates the activities of hospital personnel and engages in a variety of procedures through the interpretation of hospital policy and procedures for staff personnel; participates in the investigation and preparation of reports to the improvement of patient care, safety, education development and personnel performance.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

  • Current New York State Professional Nurse Registration

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

  • BCLS and ACLS certification

EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) Years of acute care experience

  • Charge Nurse, Manager or Supervisor experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Occasional prolonged standing, walking, sitting

  • Computer literate

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Subject to inside environmental conditions
