Full job description
Position Summary:
The Communication Disorders and Sciences Department at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications for a 12-month full-time Lecturer I position with responsibilities to include clinical supervision and teaching academic coursework during summer session and as needed. We are an engaged learning community that is committed to promoting a diversity of thought and experience. Salary Range: $67,000 + depending on experience ( DOE )
Major Responsibilities:

Clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in on- and off-campus clinical practicum. Clinical experiences include screenings, diagnostics, and therapy.

Demonstrate a broad range of clinical experiences across the lifespan.

Assessment and intervention experiences should include but are not limited to the following: AAC , autism, voice, fluency, aphasia, adult communication disorders, early childhood and school-age speech and language disorders.

Demonstrate strong clinical writing skills.

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and professional skills with students, clients, families, colleagues, and other professionals.

Demonstrate commitment to promoting a diverse academic environment consistent with university mission, vision, values and campus priorities.

Teach academic coursework in the Department in summer session and as needed.
Required Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology or its equivalent.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s ( ASHA ) Certificate of Clinical Competence ( CCC ) in speech-language pathology.

Hold or be eligible for New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.

At least three years clinical experience in speech-language pathology.

At least 2 CEUs in Supervision prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical supervisory experience
