Description

We have an exciting new leadership opportunity at The Arc Mid-Hudson for a Residential Program Manager, supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, at our residence located in the Blue Mountain area.
Blue Mountain residence is located on Route 212 in Saugerties, with a beautiful view of the Catskill mountains. The residence is home to six gentleman of varying ages and many different hobbies and interests. Patience, compassion, and a great sense of humor are characteristics we look for in staff as they play a key role in supporting the men in achieving the highest quality of independence within their community.
Responsibilities for this seasoned manager include supervising staff and assuring that plans of care are followed for the individuals we support. This motivated leader will possess an Associates degree in Human Services or a related field, a Bachelors degree is highly desired, and will have strong organizational skills and leadership experience. Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is highly preferred. An acceptable NYS driver's license is required, as this position will become van certified.
The Arc Mid-Hudson offers an extensive and informative new hire orientation in a comfortable learning environment. We also provide additional development opportunities for our management staff.
HOURS: 40/Tuesday through Saturday - 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; must be flexible, based on needs of program
STARTING SALARY: $ 62,353.20 per year
