The Department of Management at Russell Sage College is seeking qualified, motivated, and dynamic Adjunct Faculty members to teach a variety of courses across different disciplines at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Adjunct faculty will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and engaging with students to foster a positive learning environment. Various disciplines include, but not necessarily limited to, the following:

Finance & Accounting

Digital Marketing

Business Strategy

Economics

Leadership & Ethics

Quality Management

Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior

Project Management

Healthcare Strategy

Legal Aspects of Healthcare Administration

The ideal candidates should possess a strong background in their respective fields and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence, student success, and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality undergraduate and graduate-level instruction aligned with established curriculum and learning objectives.

  • Create a supportive and interactive classroom environment, in-person, livestream, or online as applicable.

  • Facilitate engaging discussions and case studies that integrate practical business experiences with academic theory.

  • Access and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Provide timely feedback to students and be accessible to address their concerns or questions.

  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

  • Participate in department meetings, professional development, and relevant institutional activities as required.

  • Collaborate with Program Directors to ensure course objectives are met.

  • Stay current with developments in your field and integrate new knowledge into teaching practice.

  • Follow all institutional policies and procedures, including grading deadlines and academic integrity guidelines.

Work Conditions:

Flexible schedule based on course offerings.

Contract is for evening classes.

Adjunct compensation is currently $1000 per credit hour (depending on staffing needs and enrollment)

Job Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree or higher in the relevant discipline from an accredited institution. (Doctorate preferred for some disciplines).

Teaching Experience:

  • Prior teaching experience, particularly at the college and/or university level, is preferred.

  • Familiarity with different teaching modalities, including in-person, livestream, and online.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
