Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our PRN OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Federal Way, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of women’s health cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Women’s Health disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • PRN position based at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, WA, a 124 bed Level III trauma center. The new provider will help with inpatient/call shifts.

  • The group does approximately 120 deliveries per month. There is 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

  • St. Francis has a special care nursery capable of caring for infants as young as 32 weeks and staffed by a Pediatric Hospitalist who handles all neonatal needs, resuscitations and transfers.

  • Group consists of 6 OB/GYN physicians, 6 CNM’s and 1 Gyn APP at this location.

  • VMFH Women’s Health Service line includes 6 MFM’s, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Washington

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care
