Athletic Trainer - Northern Potter Area High School
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available with a Two-Year Work Commitment!
Turn your passion for sports medicine into a rewarding career supporting local student-athletes. UPMC is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and event coverage for Northern Potter Area High School.
Schedule

Typically 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Weekend event coverage as needed
-
Minimal travel for playoff games and select school events
What You'll Do

Evaluate and treat athletic injuries.

Develop rehabilitation and return-to-play plans.

Provide first aid and emergency care during practices and competitions.

Collaborate with physicians, coaches, athletes, and families.

Educate athletes on injury prevention and recovery.

Serve as the school's trusted sports medicine resource.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.

Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
-
Licensed Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Current Emergency Cardiac Care certification, including:
-
Adult and pediatric CPR
-
AED
-
Airway obstruction management
-
Two-rescuer CPR
-
Use of barrier devices (pocket mask, bag valve mask)

CPR certification meeting AHA standards, including both didactic and skills demonstration components, within 30 days of hire.
