Full job description
Come join our team! BFAIR has a full time opening for a Relief Developmental Specialist to work in our Day Habilitation Program.
The Relief Developmental Specialist is responsible for working with anywhere from 1 member to up to 4 members in a site based day program on a per diem basis. This position is a direct service role in which the Habilitation Specialist assists members with developmental disabilities with skills training including: independent living skills; communication, behavior and affective development; sensory-motor and social development, and self-help as prescribed in each member’s Day Habilitation Service Plan.
All applicants must be 18 years of age or older. College Degree preferred. One year experience working with individuals with mental retardation/developmental disabilities and high school diploma/GED required. Valid Driver’s License and Ready Access to a vehicle is required. Must meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy.
