Full job description
Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting an Electrical Engineer in West Milton, NY. An active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent is required to be considered for this position.

Work within a project team environment to support construction projects at the Knolls Site. Develop and define project scope with sponsors. Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during construction phase for buildings and utility projects. Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates. Coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
EIT certificate and or P.E. License Engineering consulting experience Working knowledge of the NEC
An active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent is required to be considered for this position.
Requirements
B.S. Electrical Engineering. Experience performing electrical engineering tasks including thedevelopment of contract documents, calculations and cost estimates. Working knowledge ofbuilding codes and standards. Experience in construction administration (submittal review, RFI's,construction inspections, etc.).
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
