This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.

Accountabilities

There are several gameday opportunities to work with Colgate athletics, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Play-by-play announcers for ESPN+ broadcasts

  • Color analysts and sideline reporters for ESPN+ broadcasts

  • Live statistics inputting and calling for Colgate athletics

  • Press release writing (game recaps, weekly awards, etc)

  • Live clipping highlights for in-game social media content

  • Camera operators, instant replay, and other gameday production needs for ESPN+ broadcasts

  • Updating roster bios and other content for colgateathletics.com, Colgate’s official athletics website.

Requirements

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

Attention to detail is highly valued and required.

This posting was created to recruit part-time staff who work games throughout the year. Colgate typically hosts more than 100 home events each year. This includes a wide range of gameday roles, such as broadcasters, camera operators, stats inputters, stats callers, livestream producers, etc.

Positions are filled on an as-needed basis.
