Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) to join our team! The Graduate Practical Nurse (GPN) is responsible for supervising the nursing care of residents on assigned units. They will provide appropriate evaluation of resident condition/and documents, communicating vital information to appropriate personnel. The GPN ensures the delivery of nursing care on the unit is consistent with facility standards, and established policies and procedures. You will be supervised by an RN at all times. Responsibilities:

  • Supports and promotes the nursing department functions on the unit by following established policies and procedures.

  • Is knowledgeable and responds to nursing and building emergencies according to established policy and procedure. Is knowledgeable and responds appropriately to nursing/facility emergencies according to established policies and procedures.

  • Conducts regular rounds on the unit and notifies appropriate personnel of findings.
