Description
Job Summary: In accordance with the organization’s mission, vision and values, the Residential Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for daily kitchen operations. The following duties will apply:
Duties

Assist with oversight of all activities pertaining to the kitchen and dining room.

Ensure proper food preparation and handling.
-
Assist with the preparation and service of well-balanced meals for residential clients.
-
Assist with train for and supervise kitchen and dining room activities perform by clients completing community service.
-
Assist with maintaining compliance with Health Department, OASAS and Food Link.
-
Assist with participation in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.
-
Accommodate clients regarding special dietary needs.
-
Ensure kitchen workers follow approved menus.

Performs other duties and functions as directed.
Qualifications
Other Skills/Knowledge and Experience

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers.

Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving & time management skills and the ability to remain calm in a crisis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfort within community and crisis services.
-
Computer literacy required, specifically Word and Excel experience.
