Overview

At St. Mary’s Physician Care, our dedicated team of professionals is committed to our core values of quality, compassion, and community. Affiliated with St. Mary’s Medical Center, St. Mary’s Physician Care is actively seeking new members to join its award-winning team!

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Highlights:

  • Per-Diem employed opportunity

  • 12-hour shifts

  • 7pm-7am

  • Open ICU

  • 18-20 patients per shift

  • Assist physicians with rounding and admissions

  • Work with Collaborative Practice Agreement

  • Must have 2 years' experience working in inpatient hospitalist setting

Compensation and Benefits

  • Marketable shift rate

  • Medical malpractice insurance including tail coverage

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP

  1. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse3. BLS upon hire and maintain current4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
