Accreditation Coordinator

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking a detail-driven and mission-focused Accreditation Coordinator to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will ensure that our programs consistently meet or exceed the standards required by accrediting bodies, licensing agencies, and contractual partners.

As the central point of contact for agency compliance efforts, you will support program leaders across the organization, facilitate accreditation readiness, and help maintain our commitment to the highest level of quality care.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and support the accreditation process for CARF, ACA, and other regulatory bodies

• Conduct monthly and quarterly inspections, peer reviews, and safety committee meetings

• Maintain documentation and prepare corrective action plans when needed

• Develop a compliance calendar for staff credentials, clearances, and required training

• Facilitate new employee orientation and regional compliance training

• Assist in the development and review of agency policies in accordance with updated standards

• Ensure HIPAA compliance and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives

• Communicate and collaborate with internal leadership and external auditors

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Two to three years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, accreditation, program operations, social services, behavioral health, corrections/reentry, housing, or a related field preferred.

• Experience with CARF, ACA, PREA, licensing, government monitoring, or comparable compliance frameworks preferred.

• Experience organizing audit documentation, conducting file reviews, or tracking corrective actions strongly preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards

• Willingness to obtain certification as an internal CARF and ACA surveyor
