About the Role Come be part of the great team at the newly renovated Tommy's on Thomas! We want to make the best pizzas in Hammond and we want you to be a part of the team that gets it done. Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and reliable Pizza crafters to join our team. You will assist in making delicious pizzas, other food preparation and ensure a smooth and clean operation of the kitchen. Your role will involve being a great team player and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
What you'll do

- Making the best pizzas in Hammond!

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling pizzas

- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in food quality and food cost

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Assist with inventory organization and stock rotation

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction

- Skills:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or with pizza making is a plus

- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
