GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The athletic trainer will use their training and experience to serve student athletes and act in their best interest. Must be able to assess and guide on prevention, treatment and reconditioning of injuries. The athletic trainer will cover athletic events, providing initial guidance and necessary follow-up to keep student athletes safe. Assists with additional duties as related to the Wellness Department.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Licensed in the state of Iowa; graduate of an accredited program.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-
One or two years in athletic training setting preferred. Entry level graduates with NATA certification will be considered.
Salary Range: $22.25-$31.14
