Mozaic (A Chapter of The Arc NY) is hiring for a Classroom and Daycare Aide for Keuka Lake School in Bath NY, Steuben County. This position assists in providing direct and indirect special education/general education and carryover therapy services to preschool children with and without disabilities.

Classroom and Daycare Aide Duties and Responsibilities:

In this rewarding role, you'll help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Working alongside teachers, therapists, and other dedicated professionals, you'll support each child's unique goals and celebrate their growth and achievements every step of the way.

Your days will be filled with variety and purpose as you assist with classroom activities, creative projects, developmental learning experiences, outdoor play, and daily routines. You'll help prepare fun educational materials, encourage participation, support social and emotional development, and provide personal care assistance when needed. You'll also help with snacks, meals, and engaging daycare activities that make each day enjoyable and enriching for the children in your care.

Pay Range: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Classroom and Daycare Aide Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, as well as possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team environment.
