Job Description:
- Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions
- Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
- Perform consultations, follow-up visits, and routine outpatient evaluations
- Provide inpatient GI consult support and rounding as needed
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and preventive care
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development efforts Qualifications APRN Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure
- National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP)

$0.00 - $2,080,000.00 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
