Important skills include Application Of Frontier Models, Economics Of Applications Of Frontier Models, Adversary Frontier AI Models, Open Source, AI Research Laboratories, and Emerging AI Model Types And Domains. Preferred (not required): Project Management, Systems Engineering Principles, S&T Support, and Ops Support.

- Technical SETA
Required

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or closely related field

5+ years post-graduate technical expertise in AI or closely related field

5+ years of proven work within the IC and working across IC components – especially NSA, Cybercom, Dept of Commerce, and Dept of War

In depth technical knowledge of one or more areas including: application of frontier models, economics of applications of frontier models, adversary frontier AI models (esp. Open Source), experience or expertise in AI research laboratories, Emerging AI model types and domains, Adversarial- or Counter-AI, and other areas of research in the frontier AI domain.

3+ years project management experience and proficiency in project management and/or Systems Engineering principles relevant to Government research and development programs

The proposed salary range for this position is $128,000 - $270,000. The final salary will be determined based on various factors.
