Berkshire Family and Individual Resources (BFAIR) is currently looking for Home Life Support Counselors (“HLSC”) to join our residential teams in our group homes located in Northampton.

The Home Life Support Counselor's primarily responsibilities include: *Provides various supports to individuals under the ABI or MFP waiver programs in a group home setting *Assists individuals in all areas of daily living including personal care, housekeeping, cooking, and recreational activities *Works closely with individuals to help them to become as independent as possible and to meet their own personal goals *Assists individuals to find and participate in community activities they enjoy while encouraging community membership as well as pursuing individual interest.

Applicants must: *Be 18 years of age or older *Have a high school diploma/GED *Possess a valid Driver’s License and vehicle *Must meet standards outlined in Safe Driver Policy. Full and comprehensive training is provided. Weekend hours are required for most positions. For more information, visit our website at www.bfair.org. New Hire Bonus (5/1/19 – 7/1/19)

Applicable to Direct Care Residential (ABI & DDS) and Homecare

$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of the month upon successful completion of Day 1 & 2 of Orientation.

$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of 6 month’s employment from date of hire; Relief staff must complete 6 months from date of hire and worked 200hrs.

$250.00 paid to new employee at the end of 1 year employment from date of hire; Relief must complete 1 year employment from date of hire and worked 400hrs.
