Astor Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled clinician to join the Ulster County Crisis Support Center—a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where your work truly matters. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide compassionate, immediate support to individuals and families experiencing mental health crises.

  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop effective stabilization plans.

  • Deliver crisis counseling to individuals in acute distress.

  • Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.

  • Connect individuals to appropriate community resources to support ongoing stability and recovery.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • People who can adapt quickly, think creatively, and respond compassionately in moments of crisis.

  • Individuals who are licensed or license eligible in New York State (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD. MSW-LP, MHC-LP).

  • Candidates who have Experience in mental health crisis intervention, strong assessment skills and strong diagnostic skills.
