Sleever Operator Line 8, Barron, WI

Responsibilities:

• Line 8 To run Minnesota Automation Sleever safely and efficiently

• To get product out with little downtime

• To be aware of quality and safety issues

• To be able to communicate with other operators

• Daily set up operation, and shutdown of the sleever

• Able to perform routine changeover and necessary adjustments associated with machine operation

• Perform daily and period maintenance

• Work with BCE operators to coordinate product flow

• Perform quality line audits

• Check metal detector for proper calibration and operation

• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

• Keep the work area clean as needed

• Ability to react quickly to resolve problems with equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical skill, based on experience or training

• Basic math skills

• Knowledge of Branded Retail processing packaging product codes

• Must be able to read, write, & speak English

• Must be able to handle pork products

• No performance work actions in the last 6 months

• No attendance work actions in the last 6 months

• PHYSICAL: No current restrictions prohibiting work in a 35 degree environment

• No current restrictions lifting 40 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous machine operation experience

• Previous experience in Branded Retail processing packaging
