Astrion has an exciting opportunity for aSr. ATC Specialistfor theFAA - PSS contract, supporting theCivilian Division.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
20 or more years of Air Traffic Control technical and operational experience in the En Route or Terminal environment
Certification(s) required
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance; US Citizenship required for all candidates.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in the MS Office suite and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience developing training materials.
Experience with Information Display Systems
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting with requirements verification and tracking for new En Route and Terminal Air Traffic Control tools and systems.
Assisting with identifying potential inconsistencies and usability issues as they relate to any changes in systems,
Assisting with testing development and execution
Interfacing with user teams, system engineers and other program personnel as necessary
Producing briefing materials as required.
Provide ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed.
