Overview Sr. Associate - Portfolio Management Location: New York, NY (in office at least 3 days a week)

What you’ll do You'll be joining a team that genuinely cares about what we do and how we do it. As a Sr. Associate Portfolio Manager, you’ll be playing a key role in the day-to-day work that drives real outcomes for our clients, using quantitative risk models to optimize direct indexing equity and multi-asset portfolios. You'll collaborate with multiple teams across Ethic, bringing precision and care to everything you touch while continuously building better ways to deliver a seamless, customized investing experience. More specifically you'll:

  • Own the end-to-end portfolio process, from construction and analysis to trade execution, ensuring every detail is right and every client experience is seamless
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients and internal teams, bringing subject matter expertise in quantitative investing to every interaction
  • Partner across teams to share insights, tackle problems together, and drive meaningful improvements to both client experience and operational efficiency
  • Show up for your teammates and contribute to a culture where everyone is empowered to do their best work This position requires the candidate to obtain and pass the Series 65 examination within the first 90 days of employment, unless the license is already held prior to their start date.

  • 4+ years of experience in portfolio management, investments, or a related field
  • A solid foundation in portfolio construction, trade execution, and investment operations
  • Sharp attention to detail with a track record of accurate, timely work
  • Clear, confident communication skills across multiple mediums
  • A collaborative team player who can juggle priorities and stay composed under pressure

Compensation & Benefits Compensation at Ethic is a combination of base salary, equity (stock options) in the company, and benefits.

The base salary for this role will range from $140,000-$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
