Equal Opportunity Employer The Goddard School® located in Pflugerville, TX is growing and looking to add a caring, energetic, and reliable Afternoon/Part-Time Teacher Assistant to our amazing team of Early Childhood Educators. If you love working with children and want to support a high-quality learning environment, we would love to hear from you! Available Schedule Options We are hiring specifically for an afternoon schedule of 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. You must be able to work with all ages, ranging from 6 weeks old to 5 years of age. What We Offer * Competitive pay: $14–$16/hour (based on experience & qualifications) * Affordable health insurance: Medical, dental & vision available * Professional development: * Free Child Development Associate (CDA) program * Paid training to meet annual licensing requirements * Supportive, collaborative school culture where teachers feel valued and appreciated Required Qualifications * High school diploma or GED * CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to safely support young children * Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude * Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently * Empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with children Preferred: * Prior experience in a licensed child care center * Experience supporting infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children Primary Responsibilities As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll partner with a Lead Teacher to create a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
