Summary

This position is located at Eisenhower Hall. This position is Weather Essential.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Duties

  • Sets up bars with beverages and condiments prior to opening the bar.
  • Cleans equipment, glasses and utensils and the bar area on a continuing basis.
  • Replenishes supplies as necessary and disposes of waste materials.
  • Unloads and stacks supplies for storage. Prepares simple garnishes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. No work experience required. 2. Candidates must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Skill and Knowledge: Recognizes shortages of supplies and replaces them as necessary. Ability to use knives and automatic slicers. Able to serve simple drinks under the close guidance of the Bartender. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
