Full job description
The opportunity:
Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, preventative
maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines
within a manufacturing industrial environment.
How you will impact WestRock:
\u2022 Provides maintenance information by using CMMS.
\u2022 An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery which includes; motors, servos,
pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and
power transmission systems.
\u2022 Use strong PLC trouble shooting and problem solving ability with practical, mechanical & electrical
aptitude.
\u2022 Read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.
\u2022 Maintain production equipment to a reliable level of production through preventative maintenance
\u2022 Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
What you need to succeed:
\u2022 The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics
and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.
\u2022 2-3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation & Troubleshooting Experience
\u2022 Must be computer literate with Microsoft environment.
\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent
\u2022 Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner
\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\u2022 Ability to work various shifts / overtime / days per week
\u2022 Military training and or Technical School preferred
