Title:

Project Manager, Project Management Office (PMO)

Job Description:

Manage scope, schedule, and resources for various R&D projects, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with internal project team and external vendors to ensure all milestones are met on time. Work with PMO to resolve priority and resourcing conflicts. Communicate with leadership on project status and achievements.

Job Duties:

Leadership and Strategy

  1. Ensure adherence to project management standards and PMO policies across functional teams

  2. Promote collaboration, consistency, and a culture of accountability and transparency

Project Management

  1. Drive project strategy and decision making by distilling cross functional inputs and receiving buy in from stakeholders

  2. Direct project activities to realize project goals and associated business objectives

  3. Assign tasks and manage day-to-day activities of project team

  4. Create and maintain project schedules and budgets

Stakeholder Management

  1. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment

  2. Identify and resolve any issues in the project that arise, escalating to and working with leadership if necessary

  3. Track project status and performance and communicate findings to PMO and leadership

Talent & Resource Management

  1. Oversee project resource allocation and resolve workload conflicts

  2. Mentor analysts and junior PMs

Continuous Improvement

  1. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including metrics, feedback loops, and process audits

  2. Stay informed of PMO trends and tools relevant to the medical device industry

  3. Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications

  1. Advanced degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, etc.)

  2. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable

  3. Strong knowledge of medical device development processes, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems

  4. Class II/III medical device experience

  5. Excellent analytical skills to produce accurate data and solution proposal

  6. Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scope and scale

  7. Knowledge of project management best practices

  8. Ability to understand the technology related to neuro-related products

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, etc.)

  2. A minimum of six (6) years of work experience in the medical device industry

  3. A minimum of three (3) years of project management experience in the medical device industry

  4. Strong working knowledge and experience in a regulated industry such as medical device or pharmaceutical or similar

  5. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering results on time and within budget

  6. Exceptional leadership, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills

  7. Proficiency in project management software and tools and MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

Salary Range:

$135,529 - 169,411 Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
