Built over nine years by our skilled engineers, our system-level process combines advanced 300mm silicon architecture with GaN-on Silicon emitters, proprietary quantum dots, and micro-lens arrays to solve conventional trade-offs in size, brightness, bandwidth density, and power. Our scalable, manufacturing-ready approach enables breakthrough products such as AI glasses and next-generation optical interconnects.

At Mojo, our team includes talented professionals with expertise in product design, user experience, applied physics, hardware, software, optics, photonics, electronics, chemistry, and vision science.

We are a startup founded by technology experts with decades of experience developing pioneering products and platforms backed by some of the world's leading technology investors in Cupertino, CA.

You will contribute to the development of next-generation Data Communication Transceivers & Displays for AI infrastructure / AR using Mojo’s unique technology.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop custom optical measurement systems to evaluate components of high performance parallel data links. Source parts, assemble systems, define measurement procedures

  • Architect, Design and Develop digital circuits and FPGAs

  • Work with analog/MXS teams

  • Working with, and supporting, large external digital teams Qualifications

  • MS in EE or higher, 10+ years’ experience in relevant field.

  • Experience working with Displays and high-speed communications technology

  • Strong Digital Design fundamentals

  • Strong experience in building RTL micro architectures and RTL coding

  • Strong skills in lint, CDC, RDC, constraint development, timing, and synthesis

  • Scripting skills in shell/python/perl

  • Strong communication, presentation skills, and teamwork

  • Strong understanding of digital communication channels

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, innovative, high-energy environment with challenging schedules and technologies. Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience with data communications

  • Prior experience with displays

  • Prior experience acting as a chip lead and design manager

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Prior experience bringing communication products to mass production Level: Sr. Manager / Principal Engineer

Salary Range: $198K / $210K / $235K
