Respiratory Therapist | Full-Time Night Shift | 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Requisition: 6043
Pay Range: $40.44 – $48.57 / hour*
Sign-On Bonus: Low-commitment bonus available!

Shift Differentials

Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM): Additional $5.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked).

Night (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM): Additional $6.00/hour (min. 4 hours worked).
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care: Oxygen/aerosol therapy, ABG sampling, ventilation, airway maintenance, and oximetry studies.

Diagnostics: Perform pulmonary function testing and stock rounds.

Patient Education: Utilize the Lung Navigator (https://www.claxtonhepburn.org/our-services/pulmonology/) to educate outpatients and families; provide detailed discharge instructions.

Maintenance: Ensure proper cleaning/disinfecting of equipment and complete necessary clerical work.
Qualifications

Licensure: Current NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

Credentials: NBRC Credentialed (CRTT or RRT) and current BLS certification required.

Expertise: Advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric.
