At Piedmont Walton, our Imaging Technologists play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered diagnostic care. Using a variety of advanced imaging modalities under the supervision of board-certified radiologists, our technologists support clinical decision-making across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. From routine X-rays to complex diagnostic procedures, we serve patients across the lifespan with professionalism, precision, and compassion.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited imaging program and hold appropriate certification and BLS credentials. This is a dynamic and collaborative environment where flexibility is essential—rotating holidays and on-call shifts are part of the team structure. Responsibilities Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience
- No experience required Required
Licenses and Certifications

(R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) Upon Hire Required and
