Full job description
SGS is looking for a Supplier Quality Representative (Mechanical) / Chemical Sampling Witness Inspector in Pasco, WA for a 6 month contract with a possibility of an extension . Work schedule is 5 days a week, up to 10 hours/day.
Scope of work:

Witnessing transfer of material
-
Witnessing weighing operations
-
Collecting and documenting samples
-
Verifying supplier compliance
-
Following Bechtel quality requirements
-
Working under respiratory protection requirements (PAPR)

Acting as an owner/client representative at a supplier site

At least one of the following: AWS CWI or API certification
-
Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial sample monitoring experience.

Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc..

The inspector must have access to and be properly equipped with a PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) to safely perform the required duties.

Inspector must either already be Bechtel pre-qualified or be capable of obtaining BSQE Mechanical Level II Qualification (bill client -some we pay - 4 – 6 hours) Additional details :
Type of contract: sub-contractor agreement (1099)
Work schedule and hours of work: 5 days / week. Up to 10 hrs / day (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: $45 / hr. to $50 / hr.
Per diems: to be discussed
