Full job description
Ensure proper recognition of revenue, deferred revenue and unbilled receivable Monitor and validate data on Sales Orders, Invoices, and Revenue Arrangements Assist in establishing and maintaining SSP analyses: review transactions for multiple element arrangement linkage, selling trends, segments, compliance, etc. Perform partner referral reconciliation on a monthly/quarterly basis. Ensure proper cost capitalization and recognition of cost in accordance with matching principal. Monitor and maintain system configurations including SKUs and fair value price list Engage on special projects, including system implementation and updates, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process documentation Perform monthly/quarterly close tasks including revenue review, journal entries and accruals, account reconciliations and analysis Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial reports and disclosures including Deferred Revenue, Backlog, and Revenue trends Assist with external audits Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and automating manual tasks Collaborate and partner with cross functional teams to influence best practices Be flexible to take on new ad hoc projects and be able to adapt to a fast paced environment Undergraduate degree in Finance/ Accounting or related field Ability to interpret and apply GAAP, including hands-on ASC 606 application Good understanding of data from across systems in Quote to Cash cycle.
