Full job description

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Spanish Teacher, 7-12. The successful candidate will need to:

  • Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;

  • Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in Spanish;

  • Maintain a recovery mindset;

  • Demonstrate an understanding of differentiated and blended learning;

  • Effectively manage several students, projects, and schedules simultaneously in a high-paced environment;

  • Able to build a positive rapport with students and parents;

  • Demonstrate the willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Demonstrate an ability to work effectively with colleagues with successful experience in working as part of a team;
