Work Experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities/OPWDD with children or adults preferred
Sensitivity to the needs of the individual
Genuine interest in teaching, and willingness to motivate individuals to learn
Valid New York State License, current insurance and liability coverage
Strong command of verbal and written communication (English)
Accountability
Directly accountable to the individual primary caregivers , and indirectly accountable to the Program Coordinator Self Direction
