For more details, visit www.insituform.com The Electrical Design Engineer researches, develops, designs and tests electrical components, equipment and systems. Responsibilities: Designs electrical equipment and systems for the manufacturing department. Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of equipment and systems for the manufacturing department. Develops applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new manufacturing equipment. Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing of equipment conform to functional specifications and production requirements. Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance (including P.M.), and repair of electrical equipment and systems in use. Troubleshoots and helps in the repair of faulty electronic components and equipment. Assists in the designing of new methods of manufacturing, which will reduce labor costs and increase efficiencies. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
