Important skills include Bilingual (Spanish/English), Consumer Engagement, Telehealth, Communication, Bilingual Spanish English, and Strong Communication. Preferred (not required): Web Technologies, Mobile Technologies, Spanish, and California Communities Knowledge.

Full job description

– This Part Time employment opportunity is through Delfina Medical Group – Objective: The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.

About Us: Delfina Medical Group and Delfina Care Inc. provide a leading pregnancy care data platform and clinical services to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

‍ About You: Our ideal Doula is one that has experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. You are supportive about providing virtual support with both 1:1 and group education.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis

  • Ensure patient’s engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers

  • Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization Qualifications:

  • DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified

  • Strong communication and conversational skills

  • Experience with Web and mobile technologies

  • Fluency in English is a requirement, additional fluency in Spanish is highly preferred

  • Live or work in California, preferably in Ventura, Sacramento, or San Joaquin Counties

  • Experience and knowledge of California communities is a plus

Compensation: $30-35 USD per hour

The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
