The Film Department of SUNY Westchester Community College seeks Adjunct Faculty for introductory film production courses. Responsibilities of the incumbent include:

Prepare and deliver instruction in introductory film production courses to a diverse student body, following established departmental syllabi;

Provide regular and timely feedback to students and utilize innovative classroom instruction to promote student success;

Actively participate in all Departmental assessments and classroom management requirements.

Classes meet on the main campus in Valhalla in morning and afternoon hours.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must have a Master's Degree in Film or a closely related field, and one year of related experience. The successful candidate will teach editing using Final Cut Pro.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: It is preferred that the candidate possess a minimum of one year's experience teaching film production at the advanced high school or college level.
Additional Information:
SALARY & BENEFITS: $93.84 per hour. No benefits.
