Rate of pay: $18-$22. Final compensation is based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
Essential Responsibilities
Adult Sports Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading adult recreational sports programs and activities. The instructor will work with individuals or groups, teaching sports skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring safety and inclusiveness for all participants.
Pickleball - responsible for teaching and leading pickleball classes, lessons, and clinics for individuals or groups of various skill levels. This role involves developing engaging instructional programs, promoting the game of pickleball.
- Design, organize, and deliver pickleball lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
- Teach proper techniques for serving, rallying, and scoring, as well as effective strategies for doubles and singles play.
- Tailor lessons to participants' skill levels, offering progressions and adjustments as needed.
- Demonstrate various drills, movements, and techniques to improve player performance. and ensure that all participants have a safe and enjoyable experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs, preferably in an adult sports or recreation setting.
- Experience in program administration, including participant registration, event coordination, and resource management.
- Knowledge of adult sports programming, rules, and regulations for various sports.
- Understanding safety protocols, injury prevention, and risk management in sports programs.
- Knowledge of group dynamics and ability to work with diverse populations.
