Full job description

BACK AI Deployment Manager SALES | San Francisco, New York City | On-site | Full-time

The Role We're looking for founding AI Deployment Managers who will own the post-sale relationship with Rowspace's customers — some of the most sophisticated firms in finance. You'll be the person our customers call first. Your job is to make them wildly successful on Rowspace, expand usage across their organizations, and serve as the primary feedback loop between the market and our product team.

Because we're defining a new category, this role goes well beyond traditional account management. You'll go deep on how investors actually work — their research processes, decision-making workflows, and data environments — and translate that understanding into product direction as much as customer outcomes. The ideal candidate has either worked in finance and understands these workflows firsthand, or has a consulting background where they've managed complex client engagements and can ramp quickly on new domains.

What You'll Do

  • Own customer relationships post-close — onboarding, adoption, expansion, retention.

  • Become an expert in your customers' workflows and how Rowspace fits into their day-to-day.

  • Act as the voice of customer. Synthesize what you're hearing and work directly with product and engineering to shape where Rowspace goes next.

  • Identify expansion opportunities and partner with AEs to close them.

  • Join late-stage deals for smooth transitions — know the customer before ink is dry, pull AEs back in when expansion emerges.

  • Build the playbooks that define what great customer engagement looks like at Rowspace.

What You Have

  • 3–7+ years of experience — you likely come from finance (buy-side, sell-side, or fintech) or management consulting, and you know what it means to own an ongoing client engagement.

  • Deep familiarity with finance workflows — or the consulting toolkit to get there fast. You understand (or can quickly learn) how investors run due diligence, build models, and make decisions.

  • High agency — you don't wait for an escalation path; you figure it out and make it happen.

  • Curious and detail-oriented — you'd rather spend an hour understanding a PE firm's deal pipeline than skim the surface with ten accounts.

  • Pattern recognition — you spot themes across customers and articulate what they mean for the product.

  • Strong communicator — clear updates, productive QBRs, and you hold your own with a CTO or a portfolio manager.

  • Direct experience in financial services is strongly preferred.

Perks & Benefits

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Future Planning: 401(k) plan including employer match on contributions made while employed by Rowspace

  • Time Off: Unlimited PTO policy—we trust you to take the time you need to recharge

  • Food & Fuel: Monthly commuter stipend, plus free daily lunch and a fully stocked snack bar in the office

  • Team Culture: Regular team offsites to bond and strategize away from the desk
