Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Vascular Surgeon to support operations at the Clarksburg VA Medical Center located at One Medical Center Drive 3rd Floor Surgical Clarksburg, WV 26301. Schedule is typical Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm with call. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generous compensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

  • Estimated 95% of the time involved in direct patient care. Contractor shall be responsible for Vascular Surgery care, including clinic coverage, surgical coverage, on-call 24/7 (including weekdays, weekends, holidays), remote and onsite consultations, and any rounding related to patient care.

  • Shall be responsible for patient care documentation including pre-operative notes, operative reports, post-operative reports, and outpatient clinic notes.

  • Provide all Vascular Surgical Services by an attending supervision as determined by VA guidelines.

  • Shall follow all established medication policies and procedures.

  • Shall provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinated with the next care setting for all Neurosurgery clinical or surgical patients.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.

  • Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia

  • Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

  • NPI report printout

  • Active DEA license

  • Must be able to pass a federal background investigation

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
