Full job description

2nd Shift (2pm - 10:30pm)

Hourly rate: $22 - $38, based on experience

Job Responsibilities

  1. In accordance with company policies and procedures, this position is responsible for maintaining the refrigeration systems

  2. This position will operate and repair industrial refrigeration systems (Freon, Ammonia)

  3. Maintain pertinent records on the ammonia equipment

  4. Practice safe handling of ammonia in its liquid and gas state

  5. Maintain and update Emergency Procedures

Minimum Qualifications

***** Demonstrated experience in plumbing & electrical and demonstrate good communication skills

***** One-year experience in a boiler operation

***** Excellent history of Safety

***** Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision

***** PHYSICAL: No restrictions prohibiting bending, twisting and lifting to 50 pounds or more

***** Ability to wear a SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus

Preferred Qualifications

***** Five years’ experience in Industrial Refrigeration Operations

***** Freon Certified

***** Boiler school certified

***** Three years’ experience in boiler operation

***** Technical School diploma in Refrigeration
