Full job description

Chiller Technician

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner needs a Commercial Chiller Tech to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial chiller systems and related mechanical equipment. This role is focused primarily on air-cooled chillers, so we are looking for someone with hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing air-cooled chiller equipment in commercial environments.

Your pay: $35+ per hour, depending on your experience, with performance-based increases and bonuses.

What You Bring:

  • Commercial chiller service experience (required).

  • Hands-on experience with air-cooled chillers strongly preferred

  • Experience troubleshooting refrigeration circuits, electrical components, controls, compressors, fans, sensors, and related chiller components.

  • EPA Certification required.

  • Must have a clean driving record.

The Workplace:

  • Drug-free Workplace.

  • Work overtime when necessary. Be available for on-call rotation.

  • Work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.

  • This is no desk job! You’ll stand and walk throughout the workday, lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
