MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST

We are seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to support operation, stability, and evolution of our automated production systems.

This is a deeply hands-on technical role. You will operate and troubleshoot production equipment, support new hardware introductions, and assist with development hardware bring-up as products transition from engineering to the factory.

You will work closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Production Supervisors to stabilize lines, support new builds, and improve process performance. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning complex equipment, diagnosing issues independently, and driving practical solutions on the floor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate and monitor automated production cells and assembly systems.

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and process issues.

  • Support equipment startups, changeovers, and line adjustments.

  • Assist with development hardware builds and bring-up during NPI.

  • Help debug early production units and prototype builds.

  • Support fixture setup, precision alignment systems, and test equipment.

  • Identify process deviations and stabilize production before escalation.

  • Maintain disciplined documentation and MES traceability. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.

  • 2+ years of experience in automated or precision manufacturing environments.

  • Experience working with electro-mechanical hardware systems.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Comfort working with prototype or development hardware.

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow technical documentation.

  • Process disciplined, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, mechatronics, or related field.

  • Experience in semiconductor, photonic, or precision electro-mechanical environments.

  • Familiarity with MES systems and production traceability.

  • Experience supporting NPI or early production ramp. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range: Manufacturing Specialist: $34.00 - $48.00/per hour

Title and base salary are determined on a case by case basis commensurate with experience and merit.

In addition to base salary, compensation for this role includes:

  • Eligibility for long-term incentives including company stock options and discretionary bonuses awarded for exceptional achievements.
  • Comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance with significant cost covered by the company for yourself and dependents.
  • Paid parental leave and flexible PTO (3 weeks accrued vacation and 10 company holidays per year).
  • 401(k) retirement plan access.
