Full job description

We are a non-medical in-home care agency In search of dependable, caring, and reliable caregivers that want to work and gain personal satisfaction in serving others. C.N.A.'s with reliable transportation welcomed.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Specific to each Care Plan)

  • Providing companionship and conversation;

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs;

  • Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing;

  • Laying out clothes and assisting with dressing;

  • Planning and preparing light meals;

  • Providing medication reminders;

  • Providing transportation to and from appointments if part of care plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect;

  • Positive attitude and a compassion for others;

  • Ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care;

  • Valid driver’s license and transportation if required in client care plan;

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations;

  • Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats) if part of care plan (you can also choose not to take clients with pets);

  • Must be able to be reached via phone or text for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies;

  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds;

  • Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care is a plus!
