Space Domain Awareness Subject Matter Expert

Job Descriptions:

Sigmatech, Inc. is seeking highly qualified and motivated Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a critical National Security Space customer across multiple locations. These positions offer an exciting opportunity to operate in the high-tempo environment of national security space, integrating SDA activities from concept development through training and execution.

Selected candidates will provide mission management and requirements integration across all phases of planning, training, and execution — supporting SDA for all missions. They will synthesize information and assess overall status and readiness across multiple satellite and SDA mission scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective coordination, technical exchange, and liaison with Government and contractor counterparts

• Facilitate and coordinate the development of mission requirements documents

• Coordinate and track satellite status, threat assessments, and concepts of operations with host base and approval authorities

• Consolidate, communicate, and manage all requirements using tracking tools; verify implementation of mission requirements in support of established objectives

• Assess friendly and adversarial capabilities and technical baseline changes for mission impacts

• Support validation of requirements for equipment and facility modifications or enhancements, tracking to ensure mission-critical requirements are implemented

• Recommend assignment of satellite requirements to appropriate service providers

• Organize, document, execute, and verify satellite health status and adversary threat data in accordance with mission requirements

• Coordinate and integrate requirements across all Government customers

Required Experience:

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence Polygraph

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field (10 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted)

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple organizations and levels of seniority, including senior executives

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor style and content to diverse audiences

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business applications

• Ability to adapt quickly in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining flexibility

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and track deliverables to meet deadlines

• Exemplary writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail

• Proven ability to foster cooperative, productive working relationships across organizational boundaries
