Position: OB/GYN Physician (MD/DO) – UNC Women’s Health at Eden

About the Practice

For over 25 years, UNC Women’s Health at Eden has provided comprehensive Obstetric and Gynecologic care to the northern‑central North Carolina community. The practice currently includes two OB/GYNs, one nurse practitioner, and a dedicated clinical staff.

Position Highlights

• Scheduling options: Flexible full-time, part-time, and per-diem positions

• Call: 1:5 - 1:6 target schedule supported by dedicated per diem coverage (actual schedule may vary, call is designed to be sustainable and attractive)

• Work mix: Approximately 50% Obstetrics and 50% Gynecology; ~10 deliveries per month per provider

• Culture & support: Mentorship programs, robust physician leadership, and access to UNC Specialists

• Recognition: UNC Health Rockingham’s birthing center was rated “High Performing” for maternity care in 2025 by U.S. News & World Report

Compensation & Benefits(full-time)

• Lucrative salary guarantee, enhanced for rural health

• $1500 monthly trainee stipend during residency

Qualifications

• MD or DO, North Carolina medical license or eligible

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOA)

• Must meet credentialing criteria for UNC Rockingham medical staff
