The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey offers paid internships, providing students with the opportunity to work with experienced professionals on assignments critical to building, operating, and maintaining transportation and infrastructure assets in New York and New Jersey. Assignments include hands-on projects where interns quickly become part of the team and help the agency with its mission of keeping the region moving. The diversity of our businesses creates a variety of opportunities for students to gain exposure to the work of a first-class public agency. We offer internships in departments, like: Aviation; Communications; Continuous Improvement; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Engineering; Finance; Human Resources; Intergovernmental Affairs; Major Capital Projects; Management & Budget; Marketing; Media Relations; Operations; Planning & Innovation; Port; Procurement; Project Management; Rail Transit (PATH); Safety Management; Security; Sustainability; Technology; Treasury; Tunnels, Bridges & Terminals; World Trade Center; and more.

Qualifications:
- Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
Internship Details:
- The 2027 Summer Internship Program will likely start toward the end of May 2027 or the beginning of June 2027, lasting approximately 12 weeks
