Full job description

Neo Security is hiring a Field CTO, Americas to be our senior-most technical voice in front of customers, prospects, partners, and the broader security community across the region. You'll work at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Engineering — helping the largest and most strategic prospects understand how Neo Security fits into their security architecture, shaping deals at the executive and technical level, and bringing customer and market signal back into product strategy. You'll also be a visible external face of the company at conferences, in analyst conversations, and in the media.

This is a senior, highly visible role for an experienced security technologist and executive communicator who can go deep with security architects and engineers, credibly advise CISOs and boards, and represent Neo Security's technical vision publicly.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the senior technical executive supporting the Americas sales organization on the largest, most strategic, and most technically complex opportunities.

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, security architects, and other senior technical and executive stakeholders at prospect and customer organizations.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to shape account strategy for top accounts, engaging directly in executive conversations and technical evaluations.

  • Represent Neo Security's technical vision and roadmap publicly at industry conferences, on webinars and podcasts, and in analyst and press conversations.

  • Act as a strategic feedback loop between the field and Product/Engineering, bringing customer and market signal into roadmap and prioritization discussions.

  • Partner with Product Marketing on technical narrative, competitive positioning, and thought leadership content (blog posts, whitepapers, webinars).

  • Support Solutions Engineering and Sales Engineering leadership by acting as an escalation point on the most complex technical and architectural conversations.

  • Build relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and brief them on Neo Security's technical direction and differentiation.

  • Mentor and help develop the broader technical pre-sales and solutions engineering organization.

  • Travel across the Americas region to be on-site with strategic customers, at conferences, and at company events as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including deep hands-on technical expertise in security architecture, engineering, or a closely related domain.

  • 5+ years in a customer-facing technical leadership role such as Field CTO, VP of Solutions Engineering, Principal Solutions Architect, or similar.

  • Proven ability to build credibility and trust with CISOs, security architects, and other senior technical stakeholders.

  • Strong executive presence and public speaking skills, with experience presenting at industry conferences, webinars, or similar forums.

  • Experience partnering closely with Sales leadership to influence and close large, complex enterprise deals.

  • Excellent written communication skills, with experience contributing to technical content such as blog posts, whitepapers, or technical documentation.

  • Comfortable operating as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on technical resource depending on the situation.

  • Based in the United States, with the ability to travel across the Americas region up to 40-50%.

Nice to Haves

  • Existing relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) and press/media contacts in the security space.

  • Experience at an early-stage or high-growth security startup, helping define a company's technical narrative in the market.

  • A public technical profile in the security community (e.g., published research, conference talks, open-source contributions, active social presence).

  • Experience advising on or working within regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government) common among enterprise security buyers.

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP) or a technical background in software engineering, security research, or a related field.

  • Experience building or scaling a Field CTO, Office of the CTO, or similar function.
